Carson Fralin, MS, MFP received both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. For over eight years he has focused on occupational performance and injury prevention specific to tactical populations and professional athletes. In 2018, Carson began working with high risk populations spanning a broad spectrum of chronic diseases as well as orthopedic injuries while transitioning to a new career as a Medical Fitness Practitioner.
Carson uses his profession as a platform to improve physical performance, reduce the risk of injury, and improve health outcomes
Patrick Gill, MBA ,SEC, CRISC, C-CISO. A thought Leader and Trusted Advisor for end-to-end cyber security delivering enterprise-wide cyber security solutions. Mr. Gill is an excellent leader of change credited with establishing and maintaining a trusted rapport with Executive leadership through management, protection, and security policies.
An Award Winning Cyber Security Professional, and Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) Mr.Gill provides consultation across enterprise wide cross-functional areas of Cyber Security Management & Risk, advising the Federal Government & some of the Washington Technology Fast 50 & Inc. 500 corporations for 20+ years. Additionally, he is the CEO of The Gill Group International Inc serving as Senior Cybersecurity & Contracts Advisor for the Federal Government.
Mr. Gill is most noted for being an Award Winning (DoD) Senior Cybersecurity Advisor for the $4.3 billion-dollar transformation of the U.S. Military of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the management of US Treasury: $400B Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) financial IT transaction systems.
WILLIAM CARTER, MD
CHIEF MEDICAL ADVISOR
William Carter, MD is a clinically active academic rehabilitation medicine physician with specialty training in spinal cord injury medicine. He began his medical career as a consult physician at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Dr. Carter is very active in multiple domains of academic medicine with concentration in medical education and teaching. He has received the teaching faculty of the year award in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in 2017, and lectures in the community, and all through the levels of medical training from 1st year through the faculty level, both locally and nationally.
Dr. Carter has been tasked to lead and develop a community based oncology rehabilitation program and serve as the departmental quality improvement representative for the health system. His other passions include community outreach and improvement of systems based practice.
Julius P. Terrell is the principal of National Law Offices of Julius P. Terrell, PLLC (JPTLaw, PLLC). A law firm located in Washington, D.C. and Largo, Maryland specializing in estate and business planning and administration. Mr. Terrell has been practicing law for more than twenty-five years.
Mr. Terrell has worked for the Democratic National Committee. He also has provided service in Federal and local governments. He served as committee counsel in the United States House of Representatives 103rd Congress. He also served as pension law specialist with Department of Labor and as associate general counsel for the District of Columbia’s Retirement Board.
Mr. Terrell has negotiated a variety of contracts and finance agreements with total values exceeding $100 million dollars. These agreements cover real estate acquisitions, business financing, athlete-coaches-music licensing contracts, and events.
Mr. Terrell has assisted the American Cancer Society with major developments and fundraising. He serves as fiduciary counsel and court appointed counsel for the D.C. Superior Court. He has also assisted with the placement of a multi-million dollar testamentary gift to George Washington University.
Julius Terrell received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Pitzer College after a one-year exchange to Morehouse College. He is a member in Good Standing of the District of Columbia Bar and Maryland State Bar. He serves as an arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
HEALTH INSURANCE ADVISOR
Shell Waller is a graduate of the University of Tennessee – Knoxville where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Shell also obtained her master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently in the process of obtaining her life coach certification. She joined Cigna in 2014 as a member of the Sales Academy Program working as a New Business Manager in the Richmond, VA office. During her time at Cigna she has served in both the over 500 and under 500 segments in the Mid-Atlantic market and is most recently a Client Manager for the under 500 sales team in the Tri-South/Memphis market. Shell is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Jon Moriarty. A 20 year veteran of technology and health integration, Jon is the Chief Operating Officer for Welld Health, a electronic medical record platform developed specifically to integrate community based organizations into the healthcare continuum. Prior to Welld Health, Jon ran multimillion dollar health technology teams in the Federal market. This work included consulting for CDC and Health and Human Services on a variety of national health priorities, including diabetes, smoking cessation, AIDS/HIV education, homelessness, early education, victims of crime, and juvenile justice.
MEDICAL FITNESS ADVISOR
Dezi Zevin, PA-C (aka Coach Dezi) is a Physician Assistant with nearly 20 years of experience working in medicine and several years specializing in bariatric surgery. Her undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science was earned at Elon University and currently she specializes in working with clients who are pre- or post-op from bariatric surgery. This lead to returning to her roots in Exercise Sports Science and becoming a Medical Fitness Practitioner who specializes in bariatrics. Coach Dezi partners with bariatric surgeons as part of their aftercare program to help patients reach their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle after surgery.
Coach Dezi is also credited as the co-inventor of the Portion8 Plate, the world's first portion control plate for weight loss surgery patients and along with that authored a Recipe book to help patients attain greater success. In an effort to help remove the stigma behind obesity and weight loss surgery, recently she has launched a Podcast called "Post-Op to Won't Stop" that spotlights stories from patients who have had weight loss surgery.
Jay Croft is a veteran writer, editor and content director with three decades of experience in print and digital communications.
His business, Prime Fit Content, helps fitness and wellbeing professionals reach people over 50, while his podcast, Optimal Aging, covers a range of issues related aging well. A former daily newspaper journalist, Jay writes and edits for CNN.com, WebMD.com, and other brands.
He lives in Atlanta, where he enjoys fitness, movies, and daydreaming about being able to travel again soon.
Amisha Mittal is currently a junior at Vanderbilt University pursuing a triple major in Medicine, Health, and Society, Human and Organizational Development, and Spanish. She is keen on pursuing a joint career in medicine and business, getting her MD and MBA/MPH.
Amisha is an active member of the Vanderbilt community, holding leadership roles in several organizations including Vanderbilt Student Government, South AsianCultural Exchange, and Student Alumni Board. Amisha strives to give back to her campus and the greater Nashville area. In her free time she enjoys reading motivational novels, traveling, being outdoors, and workout classes at OrangeTheory Fitness.
With HEALTHEFIT, Amisha will serve on the advisory board as the Student Advisor offering unique insight on branding, company culture and strategies to make lifestyle medicine a standard practice in healthcare.
